January 22 - Kim Hedegaard Sørensen has stepped down as ceo and managing director of Blue Water Shipping, with chairman and founder of the company, Kurt Skov, taking on the role temporarily.
Blue Water said that since Hedegaard Sørensen and the company's board of directors had a "different view on the future strategy" of the business, the parties have decided to bring their cooperation to an end.
Hedegaard Sørensen said that it is the best solution for both sides to part when the board of directors and the managing director cannot agree on the company's strategy and where they see the company in five years.
Having taken on the role of ceo in December 2012, Hedegaard Sørensen officially steps down from the responsibility on January 31. Skov will take on the temporary role of ceo and managing director while the recruiting process takes place.
