September 3 - Barnhart has reached a definitive agreement to purchase Omaha, Nebraska based Crane Rental & Rigging.

Crane Rental & Rigging, which has a fleet of over 40 cranes, will now operate as Barnhart and will become part of the Memphis-based company's national network of branches.

In addition to Omaha, Crane Rental & Rigging has two other Nebraska locations in Lincoln and South Sioux City, as well as offices in Iowa and South Dakota.

As part of Barnhart's network, Crane Rental & Rigging will now have access to the company's rigging systems, wind turbine up-tower services, project cargo logistics capabilities, and a department of over 40 engineers.
