This serves specifically the oil and gas as well as the mining industries through a dedicated scheduled airfreighter to move cargo into West Africa.
Avient will operate an MD11 and a DC10 aircraft, which have a cargo capacity of 85 and 60 tons respectively. The flights will be scheduled flights every Friday morning from
Johannesburg to Lagos - Bamako - Ouagadougou, and on to Liege in Belgium. The service is scheduled to be launched on 28 October 2011.
The service will be managed from the Leisure Cargo South Africa, a subsidiary of Transworld Cargo Pty Ltd.
