Alfaport Voka, Antwerp Port Authority and the Scheldt Left Bank Corporation (MLSO) have agreed a further postponement of payment for domain concessions, as well as for shipping and inland navigation dues.
The port authority originally extended the payment terms for shipping and inland navigations dues in April, and extended them once again for concessions in June.
Following the agreement, the payment terms for both shipping dues (normally 18 days) and for inland navigation dues (normally 30 days) will remain extended to 48 days. This postponement of payment applies to all vessels mooring up at the port of Antwerp from September 1 until November 30, 2020. For shipping, this postponement will be applied to tonnage dues and berthing dues.
