Abnormal Load Services (ALS) has coordinated the transport of an oversized transformer from the port of Koper, Slovenia, to Hungary.
The 79-tonne transformer measured 7 m long, 3.75 m wide and 3.85 m high.
After arriving at Slovenia’s port of Koper on one of the group’s vessels, ALS transported the cargo by road to its final location. There the transformer was unloaded onto a plinth using a 500-tonne mobile crane.
The transformer will be used in a gigafactory which produces batteries for electric vehicles.
