August 19 - Japanese forwarder, Allfort Co Inc has successfully delivered 40 hatch covers, totally over 5,000 cu m in volume and over 1,100 tonnes in weight from Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan to Varna, Bulgaria.
Each of the 40 items were different sizes with the largest being 19.6 m x 5.77 m x 1.12 m and weighing 37.15 tonnes.
Each of the hatch covers were transhipped between the mother ship and barges using the ship's on gear.
