April 1 - Mobilised at the Rotterdam Offshore Group yard in the Waalhaven, the heavy lift vessel ABIS Duisburg has completed a project for a windfarm in the German Baltic Sea.
The DP2 vessel is operated by Abis Shipping and Amasus Offshore.
The Rotterdam Offshore Group and Zwagerman Offshore Services together mobilised the 7700 Sennebogen heavy lift crawler crane onboard the vessel, including an ROV, accommodation and generator set.
The 300-tonne capacity Sennebogen crane is specially adapted for offshore work and seafastening was completed with Bureau Veritas approval.
Rotterdam Offshore Group is a new company created by Serdijn Ship Repair and Zwagerman Offshore Services.
