AAL Shipping will deploy six of its heavy lift multipurpose vessels on its Europe - Middle East/India - Asia monthly liner service.
Launched in February 2020, as HLPFI reported here, the service has been growing in popularity, said AAL. It utilises the shipping line’s fleet of 31,000 dwt A-Class vessels that feature 3,000 sq m of deck space with adjustable tweendecks, which AAL said provides significant under deck volume.
The ships have 40,000 cu m of cargo intake volume as well as heavy lift cranes capable of hoisting units up to 700 tonnes.
