July 20 - Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) in Bahrain, which trades as Almoayed Wilhelmsen, has just completed a significant contract through DB Schenker (DBS) Singapore special projects.
This project involved the collection ex-works, yard handling, container packing and shipment of 40 ft open-top and flat-rack containers including out-of-gauge shipments from Bahrain to sites located in South East Asia. The project was spread out over a period of 12 months.
This is the first project of its kind handled by the Wilhelmsen Ships Service team in Bahrain.
Errol Seaman, Almoayed Wilhelmsen operations manager, says: "We are proud to have been a part of such a project as it has allowed our team to further their extensive knowledge and experience in handling a project of this type. This puts our Bahrain office in a good position to handle future projects of this kind."
