August 23 - Steder Group, the Dutch member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) has executed the complete mobilisation of dredging equipment from the Netherlands for a project in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
All components for the huge dredging project were consolidated at the private berth of Steder Group's principal in Moerdijk, one of the leading dredging companies in the world.
Steder Group chartered a box-shaped vessel to ship the dredger shipment in a full charter with direct sailing from The Netherlands to Canada. The total volume for this movement consisted of 4,000 freight tonnes, including a small workboat of 50 tonnes.
