February 15 - Tradelossa has completed the installation of components using a 570-tonne capacity strand jack lifting system at the Empalme I combined-cycle power plant in Sonora, Mexico.
Tradelossa raised parts of a steam turbine, measuring 6.3 m x 3.8 m x 13.12 m and weighing 141 tonnes; the outer casing of a condenser, measuring 9.1 m x 9 m x 3.9 m and weighing 90 tonnes; and a steam generator, measuring 11.5 m x 4.9 m x 4.8 m and weighing 330 tonnes.
The rigging works were completed 15 m above the ground.
