October 24 - Rickmers-Linie's Rickmers Dalian made a stop-over at an anchorage off Lavrion in Greece to load an impressive mega yacht.
The destination of the yacht, some 50 m in length and weighing 340 tonnes, was Dubai.
The yacht shipment was coordinated and booked by Rickmers-Linie's long-standing customer Cigisped, the Italian freight operator, which specialises in the organisation of yacht shipments of all sizes.
Rickmers Dalian is one of nine identical sister vessels of the so-called Superflex Heavy MPC-class employed in Rickmers-Linie's Round-The-World Pearl String service.
The ship is equipped with adjustable tween decks and can lift units of up to 640 tonnes.
