March 28 - Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA), a subsidiary of Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK), has come to an agreement with Boeing on the cancellation of two 747-8 freighter aircraft.
To date, NCA has taken delivery of eight Boeing 747-8F aircraft but states that given the need to flexibly respond to fluctuation in the global air cargo market it has reviewed its fleet size and scale.
The Japan-based airline provides special cargo services, which handle oversized cargoes, helicopters and vehicles.
