March 5 - The Asian Hercules III, which was recently delivered to Asian Lift, has completed her first lifting job.
The new floating sheerleg, which can be seen at the Keppel Fels shipyard in Singapore with her sister vessel, the 3,200-tonne capacity Asian Hercules II.
The pair worked together to lift the 4,850-tonne top deck for the newly built Floatel Triumph from the Korea Express ship, Korex SPB No 1, with the Asian Hercules III taking 3,500 tonnes of the load, whilst Asian Hercules II took 1,350 tonnes.
