June 6 - Guangzhou Salvage's 50,000 dwt semi-submersible ship, Hua Yang Long has departed from China with its first cargo for the Yamal LNG project in Russia.
Having departed from Qingdao yesterday, the ship will sail directly to Sabetta via the Suez Canal and is the first transit facilitated by the joint cooperation agreement between YAMGAZ, Red Box Energy Services and Guangzhou Salvage, which was signed in 2016.
The partners in the cooperation agreement have fixed the 50,000-dwt semi-submersible Hua Yang Long for one year, with Guangzhou Salvage undertaking the voyage and Red Box Energy Services overseeing the engineering and project management activities.
This is the fifth ship in the Red Box fleet currently deployed to the Yamal Project.
