May 28 - Fairmount Marine's tug Fairmount Expedition has towed the jack-up rig Naga 3 from the PV Marine Shipyard in Vung Tau, Vietnam to the RD-19X Block 15-2 oilfield offshore Vietnam.
The 70 m long jack-up rig Naga 3, which was built by Dubai Drydocks World and is owned by UMW Petropipe/Singapore Drilling, was prepared for its next job offshore for Japan Vietnam Petroleum Company (JVPC) at the Vung Tau shipyard.
Having towed Naga 3 to its offshore location, Fairmount Expedition also assisted with the installation of the rig, as well as performing some additional cargo runs.
