June 30 - Air cargo charter broker Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has co-ordinated the first-ever charter on Qatar Airways Cargo's latest addition - a new Boeing 777 Freighter recently delivered to the Doha-based airline.
The twin-engine B777F freighter can carry large shipments of over 100 tonnes.
The global aircraft charter specialist co-ordinated the movement of 87 tonnes of telecommunications equipment from Stockholm Arlanda to Dhaka, Bangladesh for the inaugural charter flight on behalf of its client Heavyweight Sweden.
Robert Jubb, a cargo charter specialist at Chapman Freeborn's UK office, said: "We are delighted to be the first company to successfully utilise Qatar's B777F aircraft. It was a successful charter operation and we expect this aircraft to be in high-demand in the future."
