January 20 - Intermarine, acting as agent for Industrial Maritime Carriers and West Coast Industrial Express, has announced that the carriers are set to reduce bunker surcharges.
The Bunker Surcharges (BSC) levels, which apply on all the services to and from South America, Mexico and the Caribbean from the start of February, will be as follows: north, east, and west coasts of South America including the Caribbean and Mexico: Breakbulk USD36.00 w/m as freighted (minimum USD36.00); 20ft USD370.00 per unit; and 40ft USD650.00 per unit.
Surcharges apply to all inbound and outbound cargoes and will be effective for all cargoes loaded to carrier's vessels on or after February 1st.
