For the full year, The Boeing Company saw its revenue grow by 19 percent year-on-year to USD81.69 billion, and core operating earnings rise by 13 percent to USD7.2 billion.
The Chicago, USA headquartered manufacturer commented that its strong fourth-quarter performance capped a year of significant growth and solid execution, driving higher earnings and improved cashflow.
However, president and chief executive officer Jim McNerney noted: "Our first order of business for 2013 is to resolve the battery issue on the 787 and return the airplanes safely to service with our customers."
