February 20 - A Boeing 747-300SF (Special Freighter) has joined the fleet of Sharjah, UAE based cargo airline Aquiline International.
The company said the aircraft, which is capable of handling 100 tonnes of cargo, would help it to meet the growing demand for large freighter aircraft on the market.
With a maximum payload range of more than 6000 km, Aquiline said the B747-300SF offers a lower operating cost than any other alternative aircraft types on the market enabling it to offer highly flexible ACMI/wet lease and charter solutions.
