June 8 - ALE has installed a new bridge over the Marquardt River near Berlin, Germany.
ALE installed the Marquardt bridge, which weighed 700 tonnes and measured 100 m x 15 m x 18 m, using SPMTs, skidding plates, strandjacks and climbing jacks.
The bridge was launched over skidding plates in several stages with the assistance of a pontoon, before being jacked down into its final position using two 285-tonne capacity climbing jacks.
