February 5 - Air Charter Service has opened an office in Toronto to complement its existing operation in New York - bringing to ten the number of offices ACS now has worldwide.
The new office is headed by Gary Hopkins who has been with Air Charter Service for almost nine years and is a specialist in outsize shipments and humanitarian flights, as well as urgent freight charters.
Hopkins says: "Having worked in New York for the past three years I feel confident and excited about opening the Toronto office. This is a great new challenge for myself and Air Charter Service, and the first step in our expansion in North America".
ACS's managing director, Tony Bauckham, commented: "We opened three other new offices last year, and we expect Air Charter Service Canada to emulate their success".
