May 21 - Air Charter Service (ACS) has performed more than twenty charters carrying necessary equipment for the Iraqi elections which took place last month.
The aircraft charters carried over 1,000 tonnes of cargo to Iraq, consisting of ballot papers, ballot boxes, ink and promotional material for the contenders.
"Our Turkish and Dubai operations arranged charters for election materials to be flown in from the Far East and the Middle East to a range of destinations including Baghdad, Basra and Erbil," explained Justin Bowman, ceo at ACS.
