The turbine blades each measured 68.5 m in length, and the towers weighed 90 tonnes with a diameter of 4.9 m. Because of the size and weight of the loads, Yılnak used special hydraulic blade carriers and modular beam trailers.

There were narrow passes and challenging road conditions along the 1,476 km route from İzmir to Elazığ, which required planning and necessary road modifications to be made before and throughout the project.

During the unloading operations, 200-tonne and 160-tonne mobile cranes were used to handle all the loads. During the transport, the vehicles cumulatively covered a total of 615,520 km for all load deliveries, the company said.

HLPFI recently reported that Yılnak performed a 2,122 km haul across Türkiye.
