FLS Australia and Freight Traders – members of the XLProjects (XLP) network – have teamed up to transport train wagons and locomotives from New Zealand to Australia.
The shipment comprised four locomotives that measured 14.1 m x 2.7 m x 3.6 m and weighed 82 tonnes. The wagons measured 16.9 m 2.4 m x 0.9 m and weighed 14 tonnes each.
FLS Australia and Freight Traders’ project scope included transportation to a cleaning facility for high pressure blasting, transport to the port, the unloading of the equipment onto Mafi trailers, and export Customs.
