Dako Worldwide Transport coordinated the movement of six heavy components, weighing around 100 tonnes each, as well as a further 10,000 freight tonnes from Europe to a 55 MW power plant in the Colombian mountains.
After many bridges and roads were destroyed by the El Nino weather phenomenon, Dako had to execute ro-ro operations on two barges and reinforce about 60 km of dirt track to complete the transport of the two main components.
