Van der Vlist was tasked with the delivery of a 6.3 m x 6 m x 3 m item from the Netherlands to Finland.
The company said that the easiest way to move the cargo would have been to charter a coaster for direct transport from Amsterdam to Finland. However, in order to save cost, the cargo was transported by a barge and transhipped to a seagoing vessel headed for Finland. The cargo was taken to its final destination by road.
At the destination, the load was placed upright in the frame using a mobile crane.
