Van der Vlist has handled the delivery of 14 wind turbines for the Windpark Slufterdam renewal project in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
As part of the project, Nuon and Eneco are replacing the 17 ageing wind turbines with more modern and efficient models.
Van der Vlist was responsible for the transport and interim storage of the components, which included wind turbine blades measuring 60 m in length.
In total, Van der Vlist completed 140 special transports between its terminal in Moerdijk and the project site using a combination of specialised trailers.
