Upcargo Logistics has delivered three tanks, each weighing 10 tonnes, for a water treatment plant in Panama.
In addition to the tanks, which measured 10.92 m x 4.27 m x 4.4 m, the project included the transport of three 40 ft flatrack containers from Spain.
Upcargo organised the operation, conducting route studies prior to the arrival of the cargo. The company was also responsible for Customs clearance documentation, creating an unloading diagram for the customer and handled the unstuffing operation in the port to facilitate the loading from flatracks onto lowbed trailers.
After transporting the tanks from the port to the unloading site, Upcargo discharged the components and handled the installation.
