Turk Heavy Transport has delivered a 65-tonne silo on behalf of Ramsis Engineering, Fives Solios and Bechtel for the Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) pot line 6 expansion project.
Measuring 23.2 m x 9.2 m x 9.8 m, the silo was transported from Ramsis Engineering’s yard to the project site using 24 axle lines of SPMTs.
The move was part of an ongoing project which has seen Turk Heavy Transport handle oversized components including equipment measuring 8.8 m x 10 m x 18 m and weighing 72 tonnes.
Turk Heavy Transport is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Bahrain.
