Total Movements has transported mining equipment, including a 55-tonne mobile crusher unit and a 34-tonne mobile screening unit, to a project site in India.
The crusher unit was transported from the load port onboard a ro-ro vessel. The mobile screening unit, which originated from a different load port, was also intended to be shipped using a ro-ro vessel. However, due to a lack of space and a suspension of sailings, the cargo had to be moved by other modes.
Total Movements worked closely with the carrier and affiliated agent to ship the cargo on a breakbulk service.
Both units were then received at the Indian port by Total Movements for further transport to the project site.
