Total Movements International has successfully coordinated transport of the massive 60 MW barge-mounted power plant, Nusantara II, from Surabaya, East Java, to Kolaka, southeast Sulawesi.
The barge weighed 4,360 tonnes and measured 72 m x 27.4 m x 35.3 m. It was moved from the anchorage port at Tanjung Perak to Kolaka jetty.
The power plant is a critical infrastructure component designed to bolster energy capabilities in the region. Its delivery represents a significant milestone in supporting industrial growth in Southeast Sulawesi, said the company. “This project reflects our ability to handle complex cargo movements efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards,” added Abhijeet Singh, director of Total Movements International.
Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that Total Movements had shipped 1,500 cu m of oil and gas equipment from Saudi Arabia to Singapore.
