Total Movements has moved over-dimensional cargoes and related general cargoes for a power plant in the USA.
The port-to-door shipment included power plant equipment and was shipped from India. The company was responsible for shipping the breakbulk cargoes from India to the discharge port in the USA, receiving the cargoes under the vessel hook, the import Customs clearance and port handling, as well as the road transport from the port to the project site.
According to Total Movements, as it was a time-sensitive shipment, the escorts and road permits were arranged well in advance of the arrival of the cargoes to ensure the journey to the project site could be executed without delay.
