Total Movements has coordinated the transport of eight pieces of over-dimensional cargo from the supplier’s works in India to a designated discharge port in South America.
The shipment totalled 1,200 freight tons and Total Movements was responsible for the road transport to the load port, coordinating the export Customs clearance and the organisation of the ocean freight from India to South America.
Total Movements had to arrange specific trailers to haul the cargoes to the load port as part of the time-sensitive project. In close coordination with the supplier, the company also designed the lifting plan and secured a suitable vessel, which in turn reduced the transit time by nearly a month.
Total Movements is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India.
