Trans Global Projects (TGP) has been awarded a major contract to provide end-to-end logistics services for a major hydrogen project in the Netherlands.
The first series of shipments for this project has already been successfully completed, said TGP, including an oversized cargo transported from Vietnam to the Netherlands. This shipment included a diverse range of items including skids, modules, construction materials, and boiler components. In total, it managed 2,513 cu m of cargo weighing 546 tonnes and consisting of 111 items.
TGP was responsible for ocean freight through to last-mile delivery.
A second shipment of oversized cargo is currently on its way from China, involving a two-port loading, to the Netherlands. It includes 6,690 cu m of cargo, weighing 1,704 tonnes and comprising 235 items.
In total, the project will involve the transport of 89,000 cu m of cargo, including 77 heavy lift and out-of-gauge moves. Shipments will run from January 2025 to April 2026. The largest piece, a CO2 absorber, measures an impressive 65.4 m x 5.8 m x 5.8 m and weighs 390 tonnes.
