Project freight forwarder Trans Global Projects (TGP) has coordinated the delivery of two 283-tonne transformers for Pattern Energy’s SunZia Wind project in New Mexico.
TGP Houston – supported by TGP Bremen – organised the shipment of the two units from Europe to the USA by part-charter and the onward delivery by specialised train carriages to the jobsite.
This is just one of several shipments that TGP has been trusted to deliver from across Europe to sites in Arizona and New Mexico as part of the project.
TGP’s work is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2025 after the delivery of 38,000 freight tonnes of ancillary equipment and a further 15 transformers.
