Trans Global Projects Group (TGP) has delivered five over-dimensional reels from Newcastle, UK, to Açu Port in Brazil.

Over-dimensional reels being shipped from Newcastle, UK, to Açu Port, Brazil

After arriving in Rio de Janeiro, TGP Brazil managed onward transport of the reels, each weighing between 190 - 260 tonnes, to Açu Port by barge.

TGP has also entered the final phase of the transportation of five transformers. Weighing 206 tonnes each, the first two transformers were delivered from Itaguaí, Brazil, to Norfolk, USA.

The final three transformers being transported from Houston, USA, to Canton, Mississippi

The three other cargo pieces – each 135 tonnes – were discharged in Houston, USA, and sent to Canton, Mississippi via barge.

Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that TGP had moved four 202-tonne transformers and accessories from Germany to the USA.
