Trans Global Projects (TGP) Group moved four 202-tonne transformers plus accessories from Bad Honnef, Germany to Stanton, Tennessee USA.

The project comprised two lots, each consisting of a pair of 202-tonne transformers along with 1,200 cu m of accessories.

TGP’s scope of work included discharging the cargo onto a leased hopper barge at the port of New Orleans (Louisiana), transporting the cargo to Memphis (Tennessee), and offloading the transformers using a ring crane directly onto SPMTs. From there, the trailer made its way to a nearby railyard, where the transformers were transloaded to railcars leased by TGP.
