Singapore-based Swire Projects has shipped four complete wind turbine sets from Dafeng, China, to Vung An, Vietnam, for the Hai Anh wind power project.
The Hai Anh wind farm, located in Quảng Trị province, features eight of Electric Wind Power’s WH5.25-172 wind turbine units. Around 855 ha in size, this project is Electric Wind Power’s inaugural venture in the country.
34,000 cu m of cargo including towers, nacelles, hubs, blades, and numerous accessories was transported on Swire Projects’ multipurpose I-type vessel, Pacific Integrity. The 19,600 dwt ship is equipped with two 240-tonne cranes.
The wind blades were stacked in four tiers, with some towers arranged in two tiers and fastened securely on deck. The remaining components stored safely in the holds of the vessel.
In July 2024, HLPFI reported that Swire Projects had shipped YC Bora to Sharjah, UAE.
