Swire Projects – a division of Swire Shipping – has delivered 88 ore cars from Dalian, China, to Port Hedland in Western Australia for mining company BHP.
The shipment was loaded onto the company’s 19,000 dwt multipurpose heavy lift vessel, Johnnie Bryan, and discharged at Port Hedland in January 2023.
This was the company’s first sailing to Western Australia. Swire Projects plans to position more vessels on regular sailings to the region in the near future.
