Khimji Ramdas Shipping has coordinated the haulage of five separators, with a combined weight of 1,200 tonnes, in Oman.
The cargoes were hauled 700 km on multi-axle trailers from Nizwa Industrial Estate to the port of Duqm. Khimji Ramdas worked closely with the Ministry of Transport and the Royal Oman Police (ROP) to ensure the cargoes were delivered safely.
The three low-pressure separators measured 27.3 m x 6.4 m x 5.78 m and weighed 160 tonnes each. Two 322-tonne high-pressure separators measured 27.3 m x 6.4 m x 5.78 m.
Each delivery took four days to complete. The units were stored at the port on stools and beams in preparation for export to Kuwait.
