India-based Seashell Logistics has coordinated the delivery of a 1,700-tonne ro-pax ferry from Chennai Port, India, to Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago.
Seashell’s scope included port handling, the arrangement of the semi-submersible vessel Sunrise, cribbing, seafastening, non-destructive testing (NDT), and marine warranty survey (MWS) approval.
The company said that it obtained permits in December 2022 to transport the vessel by road to Chennai Port under police escort.
