Uganda-based Sea Horse Logistics has handled the delivery of out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo from Mombasa Port, Kenya, to Luwero, Uganda.
The cargo included two units weighing 85 tonnes. They were loaded onto two 10-axle trailers for onward transport.
The company said the 1,500-km journey from Mombasa Port to the site took 31 days due to the abnormal weight and size of the cargo.
Sea Horse Logistics is a member of Project Cargo Network (PCN).
