Scan Global Logistics is coordinating the delivery of 44 wind turbines for the first phase of the Yunlin offshore wind farm in Taiwan on behalf of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE).

Scan Global is responsible for organising the ocean transport of the components, including nacelles weighing up to 430 tonnes and blades measuring 82 m in length.
In total, 400 pieces will be shipped from Aalborg, Denmark and Cuxhaven, Germany.
All cargoes will be moved by United Heavy Lift (UHL), with the first shipment departing Aalborg in March. All components should be delivered by October 2020.
Located in the Taiwan Strait on the west coast of the country, the wind farm will comprise of 44 SG 8.0-167 DD turbines.
