SAL Heavy Lift has transported multiple vessels from the port of Genoa Italy to Jebel Ali, UAE.
SAL loaded seven yachts, a tender boat and a pontoon onto its heavy lift vessel Frauke.
The vessel’s own cranes, each featuring a lifting capacity of 700 tonnes, completed the loading operation. When combined, the cranes are able to lift up to 1,400 tonnes.
The heaviest unit transported was a 240-tonne yacht, which was 14 m in height, 41.9 m in length and 8.5 m in width.
