Roll-Lift USA has transported 12 units for the YCI methanol one (YCI-M1) project in Louisiana, USA.
The components were transported by road from the port of New Orleans using a Scheuerle nine-axle highway trailer; two Highway Giant dual-lane trailers, also from Scheuerle; plus 18 axle lines of Kamag K25 modular trailers.
The units had a loaded height of 17 ft (5.2 m) and their transport required extensive coordination with local government agencies and the utility company, said Roll-Lift.
Roll-Lift USA will also be responsible for the onsite lifting and installation at the YCI-M1 project site. The largest crane within Roll-Lift’s fleet, the Liebherr LR11350, will be utilised for this phase of the project. The crane is currently working on the construction of the Raiders stadium in Las Vegas.
