Hansa Meyer Global Transport coordinated the delivery of one 6.86 m ring, weighing 91.5 tonnes, from the port of Marghera in Italy to Jakarta, Indonesia.
The item was loaded as breakbulk aboard the container vessel Maersk Horsburgh and shipped to Singapore, where it was discharged using a floating crane at Pasir Panjang Terminal.
It was loaded onto a multi-axle hydraulic trailer and moved to Jurong Port, where it was barged to Jakarta.
Upon arrival in Indonesia the item was jacked up, loaded onto the hydraulic trailer, rolled off the barge, and jacked down onto support stools at the wharf.
