China’s Protranser has coordinated the delivery of a large harvester from the USA to Kazakhstan.
The 18-tonne unit was moved from the USA to Shanghai’s free trade zone, then on to the Horgos free trade zone in Xinjiang. The unit, measuring 10 m x 3.75 m x 3.5m, was then moved by road to Kazakhstan.
Protranser said that transhipment trade through China can sometimes be complicated. To comply with height and width restrictions on the road-leg of the project, Protranser removed the wheels of the harvester.
