Over Projects has transported 11 CAT 785 off-highway trucks and accompanying components from a mine site in Brazil to a harbour 150 km away.
The trucks, which measured 9.7 m x 6.7 m x 5.2 m and weighed 90 tonnes each, were transported using 10-axle hydraulic trailers. By jacking the trucks on and off the trailers, Over Projects said that it avoided lifting the units at the mine site.
At the port, the equipment was loaded on onboard a BBC Chartering vessel for onward delivery to Australia.
Over Projects is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in Brazil.
