French heavy logistics company Octra has delivered a 2,200-freight ton (FRT) turnkey shipment from Southeast Asia to just south of Paris, France.
The inland river network around Paris was used due to the size of three components, and the geometrical restrictions that come with this. The largest piece of cargo weighed 86 tonnes and measured 25 m x 5 m x 5 m.
Together with its long-term partners, Octra handled the overland section of the delivery.
In 2024, the company opened a new office in Lyon, France.
